In this week’s Friday Download: The debut EP from Will Phillips, a London-based producer known as Tourist. Formerly, Phillips went by the moniker Little Loud, and grew a following by creating remixes for the talented faces of electronic music (Yeasayer, Memory Tapes, HEALTH – to name a few). The switch to Tourist represents a shift in his artistic endeavors, from remixing to creating on his own. NPR calls Tourist an emerging producer to watch out for, and when you listen to his EP, it’s clear why.
