Pushing Through the Pavement with The Polish Ambassador
2014/07/28

The Polish Ambassador offers fans an interstellar digital archive: a new album, an entire catalog, exclusive videos, artist-curated artwork, and more.

When David Sugalski dons his bright yellow jumpsuit he purchased in a Chicago thrift store years ago, a Clark Kent-to-Superman-like transformation occurs. The humble musician and producer assumes his alter-ego, The Polish Ambassador, an intergalactic diplomat leading wild carbon-neutral cosmic parties across the world.

His shows are an improvised, multi-sensory experience powered in part by his visual designer and touring partner Liminus. You might get bumped into by the person dancing uncontrollably next to you. You will get sweaty and find yourself overcome by positivity. It’s all part of the show.

Last month, Polish Ambassador released his latest LP, the highly anticipated Pushing Through the Pavement, on his own Jumpsuit Records. The album blends of Polish Ambassador’s slick and shimmery electronic production over a rich bed of funk, world and hip hop beats. With multiple features from East and West coast underground hip hop mainstays and world musicians throughout the album, Polish Ambassador continues to prove he is not bound by genres.

Pushing Through the Pavement finds the producer continuing to carve out his own place in the electronic music with rich layered melodies and lush sonic landscapes, in stark contrast to the bombastic, turnt-up EDM movement dominating mainstream radio.

About BitTorrent Bundle

BitTorrent Bundle is an alpha project made with and for the web’s creative community. Our mission is to help artists connect directly with fans, inside the content they share.

Each BitTorrent Bundle allows artists to distribute content directly to the Internet. And each Bundle comes with a key. Fans can unlock artist content with an email address. The idea is to make each song a storefront, and each file more valuable, every time it’s shared. Got ideas for the next BitTorrent Bundle? Hit us up.
