How do I share torrents on µTorrent Lite?

The share feature is a great way to share torrents with others who don't have previous torrenting experience, or who don’t want to download client software like µTorrent Classic or µTorrent Web. Your friends and family only need a strong Internet connection and Chrome, Edge or Safari to be able to open torrent files and play. 

Before you can start sharing, first you will need to play a torrent on https://www.utorrent.com/lite/ by finding a .torrent file or a torrent magnet link for the playable media that you are looking for. From there, you can leverage https://www.utorrent.com/lite/ to play it. Please follow the below instructions to start sharing:

Step 1: Click on the ‘Share’ icon below the µTorrent Lite player.

Step 2:  Click to copy the message and the torrent magnet link to your clipboard. 

Step 3: Paste the message into an email or instant message and send it to a friend or family member. 

Step 4: When your friends click on the magnet link, it will open and play on https://www.utorrent.com/lite/.
